The Pinot Nero is a grape variety with distinctive characteristics, renowned for its red berries and the aromatic complexity it imparts to wines. In the vineyards of Pózza de Crós and Vac, located in the picturesque Cembra Valley, this noble grape finds its ideal environment. Here, cultivated with care and attention, it produces high-quality grapes, yielding 75 quintals per hectare, strictly adhering to the provisions of the DOC regulations.

The cultivation of Pinot Nero follows the guyot system, at an altitude ranging from 400 to 550 meters above sea level, where the dry hilly climate and soil favor the full expression of this grape variety.

The vinification and aging of the wine are carried out with great care and precision. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, the wine rests in barrels for about 10 months, acquiring nuances of vanilla that make it soft and velvety. Subsequently, the Pinot Nero continues its aging process in the bottle for another 6 months, allowing its aromas and flavors to fully evolve.

The result is a wine with a light ruby red color, fruity with delicate notes of cherry on the nose. On the palate, it reveals itself as dry and fresh, with a complexity that is further enriched by aging in barrels. Perfect for accompanying dishes based on pork, lamb, and game, Pinot Nero stands out as one of the most prized and difficult-to-produce red wines, finding its ideal home in the Cembra Valley.
