The history of the company began in 1947 in Merceuil, Burgundy, when André-Marcel bought his first vineyard, giving life to the Maison André Goichot. The real revolution took place in 1987 when his son André-Marie took over the direction of the Maison and gave a decisive impulse: the company passed from wholesale orders to bottling, thus becoming a trading house dedicated to the purchase, the elevation and the resale of wines. In 2000 another great leap in quality was made with the construction of the modern and technological production site in Beaune. Thanks to this and thanks to the entry into the company of the third generation made up of four brothers that allows the company to expand its horizons by offering the wines of the Maison to the international market. Currently the company owns 36 hectares of vineyards and thanks to the relationship with many winemakers in the region Maison André Goichot is able to offer, in addition to the wines of which they own the vineyards, also wines of the highest quality and with a wide range of appellations: from Chablis to Chassagne Montrachet, from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Vosne-Romanée, bottles that are synonymous with the highest enological excellence of Burgundy and beyond. The Maison is still proudly owned by the Goichot family and continues to be one of the last independent family trading houses in Burgundy in such a glorious wine area but run by big names and big groups.

THE WORK
The management of the partners must marry that of the domaines owned and that is why periodic visits are made to check the quality before bringing the product into the cellar. Between the rows, respect for what is the equilibrium of the environment is always constant and maximum and the agronomic rules followed dedicate careful and maniacal care to each plant, so that the grapes that are harvested are perfect in each of their smallest shade. In the cellar, every production step is checked, never losing sight of what is the main objective, aimed at enhancing all that the season and the territory have been able to express in the fruit. In this way, a range of labels was born capable of responding to all tastes and needs.
