The color is intense red sometimes mauve, the aromas express notes of cherry, strawberry, black currant and when ripe, leather, truffle and game. The macerated fruit completes the bouquet. Vigorous and full-bodied, it has a balanced and robust structure.

Full-bodied and powerful, it goes well with tasty meats such as roast lamb, ribs, duck breast and game.
