to say a return. The brothers Corrado and Marcello Fratini, who in 1999 founded Tenuta Argentiera, sold in 2016 to the Austrian entrepreneur Stanislaus Turnauer, "try again", with a different project: Tenuta Hortense, 10 hectares of vineyards in Castagneto Carducci, almost all of them in Cabernet Sauvignon, but also a little to Merlot and Cabernet Franc, where to produce wines of the highest quality.

Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, long macerations and 18 months of aging in 500-liter wood. The result is a powerful wine with elegant tannins, which displaces with its boundless olfactory breadth. Opera first for this new wine reality, which will surely make people talk about itself.

Intense purple red color, with violet reflections to the eye. Notes of ripe dark fruit emerge on the nose, then flanked by territorial and varietal herbaceous, brackish and vegetable hints. The spicy trace is not negligible. The palate is well balanced between fruit and tertiary complexity. Long persistence.
