The Bolgheri Rosso of Tenuta Meraviglia - Dievole is a Tuscan wine in which body and structure never detract from elegance and drinkability. Blending two highly complementary vines, namely Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it reveals itself with a complex and fascinating personality, important to the nose, in which a set of well-balanced scents reigns, and intriguing on the palate, where it is drunk full and refreshing. A bottle therefore elegant and precise, with attention to the smallest details and ready to support even further aging, proving to be consistently consistent over time.
This Bolgheri Rosso originates from a blend of international red berried grapes that the Dievole winery assembles within the walls of Tenuta Meraviglia. Here Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grow in vineyards located about 150 meters above sea level and facing south-west, sinking their roots in a volcanic-molded terroir, rich in pebbles. The fermentation of the must takes place spontaneously in conical concrete vats thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts. Then follows the refinement, which takes place first for 12 months in French oak barrels, and then, after bottling, for 3 months directly in glass.
Bolgheri Rosso Dievole wine is revealed in the glass with a typically ruby color. The progression of notes that conquers the nose tells of an olfactory texture dominated by small black and red berry fruit, enriched with more floral nuances and touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is of excellent body, structured, with a full sip from which a nice freshness and a well-smoothed tannin emerge. A mature label, where nothing is out of place, perfect to be enjoyed in combination with grilled or stewed red meat main courses.
